First, choose a tray to your liking.
When serving tea, you really can't go wrong with sweet, delicate doilies, which I placed next.
A color scheme is really not required; just as long as the colors meld well. Place a favorite teacup and saucer. Nothing compares to fine English bone china! Next, cookies and flowers....all set!

DeleteOooooh I want that tea cup and saucer, I love it. So pretty. I dont have tea any more. I gave that up after I moved from England but I am collecting Cups and saucers again now. I have quite a few. Some day I will have a better way of displaying them I hope.

DeleteI like this idea of spoiling yourself. We're all so conditioned to spoil others. And this is a truly lovely way to spend some quiet, nourishing time.
