Magazine Monday #3

Hello, lovely friends, and welcome to this week's belated Magazine Monday!  The air is thick with perfume, the days are warm but not hot, and the evenings are cool but not cold.  This is sublime weather....and a perfect time to enjoy a bit of cottage charm.  What is so charming about a cottage?   Sweet simplicity.  Fresh linens hanging on clotheslines, small spaces, secret gardens, rustic nuances; the ease of the countryside.  Today, I am sharing quite a few snippets from three publications.  I hope you enjoy!

Cottages & Bungalows is an affiliated publication of Romantic Homes, Well-Styled Home, and Victorian Home magazines.  The April/May 2015 issue is full of sweet, romantic inspiration, including 132 ideas for porches, gardens, curb appeal, et cetera.  Here are a few of my favorites.  To visit the site, you may do so here.

Don't you just love the serenity of this setting?  Among the beauty of the trees, this is a perfect place for a tête-à-tête al fresco.

Here, a beautiful setting emulating a classic English cottage garden becomes the perfect place to take tea.

This pretty space is cottage porch, personified.

Cottage Style, a fairly new publication released by Better Homes and Gardens, is a rich resource for beauty as well.  In issue #93, 2015, there is an exploration of vintage, costal, and natural cottage style. To visit the site, please click here.

The article Southern Charm is such a feast for the eyes.

Wouldn't you love to relax here, book in hand?  I am ENAMORED with those gothic windows!

Another shot.  The rustic floors and table juxtapose sublimely with the beautiful flowers, pitcher, chairs, and chandelier.

This darling little enclave featured in the article Once Upon A Time, takes my breath away.  So pretty!

Finally, a couple of my favorites from Vintage Beautiful.  This publication definitely appeals to the DIY'er in me, with beautiful spaces featuring flea market finds.  To subscribe, visit the site by clicking here

Here rustic charm combines with nature's beauty.  So simple, and so lovely!

A perfect table set with vintage linens, flea market textiles, and beautiful flowers in a gorgeous garden couldn't be more inviting!

    1. Me too, Jann! It saddens me when I hear rumors that some of my favorites may go completely digital. I guess I'm just old fashioned in that regard....just as I prefer reading and holding a book rather than staring into a screen! Thank you for hosting, and for stopping by! :)
