Springtime Nuances Abounding


Hello, Friends!  Thank you so, so much for stopping by to visit! I am so very excited that there are signs of spring all around.  The flowers are beginning to sprout. The weather is gorgeous, and the air is breezy and fresh.  If you are still buried under snow, adding fresh or faux flowers or a cheerful vignette is a wonderful way to incorporate a feeling of Spring into your décor.  Here a few ways to add a feeling of Springtime charm around your abode.

I've added baskets of springy charm to the front doors.  There's nothing like a pop of pretty pastel color to inspire a cheerful and fresh atmosphere!






Even at dusk, the colors are vibrant!

Just recently, I finally gave in to purchasing this piece, a glorious Chatham England pitcher and basin after stalking it for a few months at my local antique.  I was thrilled to find it was on sale!  Here are a couple of photos of it in the foyer, you can appreciate its scale, which is quite large.






I adored the beautiful detail of blue and white...


and pretty roses.


A perfect receptacle for a fresh arrangement of fragrant beauties!






A simple vignette that is functional as well is this sweet setting for tea, ready to use any time.


Love these sweet little bunnies and soft, muted blue!

    So pretty, both baskets, vase and flowers! It is spring here, been in the 70's for the last 3 weeks except for 2 days when temp went down to the 40's at night...Christine

    I LOVE your pitcher and bowl. I would also have stalked them until I just had to buy them. Love your bunny tea-set, too. I used to collect tea pots, creamers and sugar bowls - until they took over. I still get itchy fingers when I see good ones. LOVE the yellow roses.

    This may be a repeat! I love the pitcher and bowl. I would have stalked it, too! Love your flowers and spring-y look! Out weather here has been Spring almost all winter (weird). Now I'm ready for Spring so I'm looking out for blooming trees!

    Spring is in the air! Instead of displaying a floral wreath on the front door, I would like to try making your basket of flowers. I adore tulips and they look so sweet in your basket.
