Set Your Table With Flair—A Moody Late Autumn/Early Winter Tablescape

Just before Christmas.  The Winter Solstice is nigh.  Also:  The quiet before the storm.

One last Autumnal hoorah.

With moody flowers indicative.

And handmade pretties tucked here and there.

The proper accoutrement.

Farewell, Fall.

From my collection:

Black tablecloth, generic, Amazon
Ornate chargers, generic, repurposed/handpainted by yours truly
Floral plates, Food 52
Smoky crystal goblets, Shannon Crystal Collection by Godinger
Gold flatware, Wallace Neiman Marcus/Horchow
Floral flatware sleeves and floral pumpkins, handmade by yours truly, fabric, 99¢ Store
Florals, arranged by yours truly using local grocer flowers and foliage from my trees

To make pumpkins:

Acquire fabric.

Measure rounds.

Cut.

Use filling

and sturdy thread.

Fill.

Create sections (humps), five or more for each pumpkin.

Close.

Add found branches for stems.  Hot glue into place.

Finis.

Embellish with real

or fake foliage if so desired.

Until next we meet
