Set Your Table With Flair--A Traditional Thanksgiving

Hello, all!  If you are new to my blog, welcome!  If you are a returning visitor, thank you so much!

It's just a few short days until gobble gobble day!  If you are looking for inspiration to set your holiday table, I hope you enjoy this post.

When I think of setting a traditional Thanksgiving Tablescape, I think of warmth.  Hues such as golds, bronzes, coppers, and the like emulate that feel for me.

I placed my tablecloth first.  I love this cloth, it's my traditional cloth; I typically use it every year.

What attracted me to this cloth was its lovely rust color and the detailed maple-leaf edges in gold, bronze, and copper.

Next, I placed my hand-made table runner.  To view the tutorial, visit the post on my blog The Crafting Table, by clicking here.

I placed my dark copper chargers and candlesticks with cream colored candles next.

Next, the plates.

I just love the rustic whipstitch detail of these.

Next, I placed a leaf-shaped plate on each setting.

I placed flutes and shot glasses next.

Next, I placed a rust colored napkin with a gold-toned napkin holder.

I love the detail of these napkins as well; the maple leaves truly remind me of the season.

Finally, at each setting, I placed a pilgrim hat placecard holder.  To view the tutorial about how to make these, you may visit the post on The Crafting Table by clicking here

Here is a closeup of the setting.
