Set Your Table With Flair--Winter Wonderland

Hello, friends!  Thank you for visiting!

The weather is changing...it's getting colder; for me, that means one thing and one thing only!  Christmastime is just around the corner.  If you are like me, you begin planning your menu, wardrobe, and décor as soon as humanly possible.  I just love tablescaping, and Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday, so I hope you enjoy.  Today's post will feature my interpretation of a winter wonderland themed tablescape.

I began by placing this silvery tablecloth.

Next, I placed my topiary ornament centerpiece.   To view how to create this centerpiece, visit my blog The Crafting Table by clicking here

One technique I love and do often is to use a pre-made wreath as a floral arrangement base.  It is a quick and easy way to elevate your arrangement.

I used this Christmas wreath which has the same color scheme.

I placed one at each side of the table.

Next, I placed silver candlesticks with white candles at either side of the table.

I placed vases with florals in each wreath.

Next, I placed silver chargers.

I set these lovely French fleur-de-lis plates next.  I love the delicate scalloped edges, which are a great juxtaposition to the simple, clean lines of the charger.

Next, I placed the salad plates.

I created a napkin setting by tying a small ribbon around the napkin

I then added one of these adorable glittery holly sprays to each.

I added a small silver goblet and an elegant flute.

Finally, I set my decorated chairs at the table.  I used my basic chair swag (tutorial here), but used tulle instead of ribbon as bows for a more enchanting effect, and added Christmas-esque foliage.

Here is a closeup of the setting.

From my collection:
French blue plates, from Tai Pan Trading
Candlesticks, antique
Vases and florals, ZGallerie

Small silver goblets, imported from Spain; antique
Stemware, generic

Before I close, I just wanted to mention one of my favorite holiday Tablescapes.  This Tablescape, the Ralph Lauren Noble Estate Collection, is just phenomenal!  I love the drama this table evokes, I think it would be gorgeous for Winter or Fall!  Fantastic!
